7th/8th Grade Coach


Coach Josh was raised in California playing lacrosse in high school in Redondo Beach, California, where he served as team captain (2009-10).  Josh went on to serve in the United States Navy from 2010 to 2014, where he founded a men's club lacrosse program named Navy Gold Lacrosse, in San Diego.  Josh most recently played attack for the University of Dallas, an NCAA Division 3 team,  where once again he served as team captain from 2016 to 2018.  Josh will graduate from  the University of Dallas with a degree in English in Spring of 2019.


Outside of lacrosse, Coach Josh enjoys playing the drums, writing short stories, and cooking any breakfast dish.



Coach Tyler Smith

7th/8th Grade Coach


Tyler was raised in Snoqualmie, WA playing for Mount Si High School, where he served as a three-year team captain and earned All-State and Academic All-American awards. Tyler currently plays for the University of Dallas, an NCAA Division 3 team, where he has maintained the title of captain for three seasons and earned the team MVP award in the 2018 season. Tyler is pursuing a degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine.



Coach Thomas Watson

5th/6th Head Coach


Coach Thomas was born in California, a native New Yorker, who played lacrosse at Copiague Jrhigh in Copiague High School and also the Copiague Youth League. Coach Watson alsoplayed Football ,basketball, baseball and was on the track team in high school. He was an amateur boxer and boxed in Golden Gloves boxing competitions. Thomas is a father, a husband and an entrepreneur. He has coached youth football and basketball in Lexington South Carolina and now lacrosse here in Texas.


I am excited and looking forward to introducing our new 5/6 boys to the game of lacrosse. As well as enhance our returning players skills and stick handling abilities by setting up skill stations and engaging games which will help build their confidence as well as a passion for the sport. My goal is to help each of them learn to play the game and develop lacrosse skills while learning the fundamentals of the game.”



Coach Tanner Garrett

5th/6th Grade Assistant Coach

Tanner grew up playing lacrosse in Las Vegas Nevada. He played attack for four years before switching to defense. As the defensive captain, he led his team to back-to-back State Championships and was voted Nevada defensive player of the year twice. Tanner also led his team to an undefeated season going 32-0. His defense set the record for lowest goals against average in a season. Tanner played college lacrosse for Brigham Young University as a defenseman before getting injured midway through his first season. He loves lacrosse and loves coaching others to play the game the right way!



Coach Jason Felts

5th/6th Grade Assistant Coach


Jason graduated from the University of North Texas in May of 2018 with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and a BA in Political Science, and is excited to start his coaching career. He began playing lacrosse in middle school in Austin, Texas, and was a four-year starter for the Mean Green lacrosse team at UNT, graduating 8th on their all-time scoring list. In addition to coaching, he is also the Social Media and Content Director for LacrosseMonkey, as well as the play-by-play announcer for the Dallas Snipers Hockey Club and Dallas Baptist University Hockey.
